Electric Lemonade

Some of the old time members might remember me bringing this dangerous concoction. You never taste the alcohol until too late. This started as a flight of fancy, and progressed to absurd heights. If you are thinking about Mike's, put it out of your mind. I started brewing this in 1992 and it got wackier with every batch.

heat a gallon of water to dissolve the sugar completely, do not boil. Mix all ingredients in a bucket or carboy with additional water to bring to 5 gallon total volume. Add the yeast and nutrient and let ferment.
After fermentation, rack to a bottling bucket, add the sorbistat, vodka and additional sugar to sweeten to taste. Bottle and cap. This will be a still lemonade with a kick you will not believe.

OK, so I have to ask... at 17%, how boozy is this supposed to come out?! This reminds me of SkeeterPee, which clocks in at a quarter of this ABV!
