October Club shop brew

The October Club shop brew is set for Sunday the 9th at 8:00 a.m. Kent Fletcher will be leading the brew crew this time around with a special holiday ale. He comes up with something different every year at this time.
Crew members will be brewing on the Falcons' 30 gallon all grain system located at the Home Beer Wine and Cheese Making shop in Woodland Hills. Crew members will participate in all aspects of the brewing process from measuring and crushing the grain, to cleanup. This will take most of the day, so be prepared.
To be on any brew crew, you must be an up to date, paid in full Maltose Falcons member. All potential crew members will have their membership status verified prior to being guaranteed a spot on the crew. No exceptions. Please email me your real name to publicity@maltosefalcons.com if you are using a handle on this site.
Sign ups are at the end of this event blog in the sign ups section. No sign ups are valid via the yahoogroups, email, etc. There are only 6 spots available, and one of them is Kent.
We would like to encourage new members, or those members that have not yet participated in a shop brew, to sign up for this event. If you have participated in a shop brew within the past 3 months, you are not eligible to be on this crew.
Of course, anyone who is interested in observing the all grain brewing process is welcome to come on by the shop to hang out and party with the crew. Beer and snacks to share are always welcome.
These shop brews fill up quickly and are on a first come, first serve basis.
