January Shop Brew - Sign-up is full, stay tuned for February!

Our monthly Club Shop Brew is set for Sunday, January 20th at 8:00 a.m. Our Vice President "Big" Ed "Jersey" Kochanowski is going to lead the crew. The style hasn't been settled as of this writing, but at last word he was leaning toward brewing a Rye IPA.

December shop brew (Dougweiser)

I will be heading the December shop brew,  30 gallons of Dougweiser, I will be using the same methods and recipe Doug King himself showed me while we brewed this beer several times on the old shop system.  This is a labor intensive brew as two mashes will be going at the same time.

November Shop Brew Sunday the 18th!

UPDATE: Six people have signed up for this shop brew, making a full crew plus one on wait list. As ever, you can still go to the brew session, crew or no, without taking home a share of wort.

Our monthly Club Shop Brew is set for Sunday, November 18th at 8:00 a.m. Our newly confirmed President Steve Rosolio is going to lead the crew in brewing a strong Scotch ale, a sumptuously malty delicious style. This is one of Steve's preferred styles, so it should be an informative session.

Oktober Shop Brew - Holiday Ale

Our monthly Club Shop Brew is set for Sunday October 21st at 8:00 a.m. Our Club’s Treasurer Kent Fletcher will be leading this crew with the brewing of a Holiday Ale the nature of which is still being formulated. All Brew Crew members will be brewing on the Falcons 30 gallon all grain brew system located at the Home Beer Wine and Cheese Making Shop in Woodland Hills. Members will participate in all aspects of the brewing process from measuring and crushing the grain to clean up.

August Shop Brew - English Stout/Porter

Our monthly Club Shop Brew is set for Sunday August 19th at 8:00 a.m. Our Club’s Secretary Cullen Davis with the assistance of none other than our esteemed president Nancy Gold will be leading this crew with the brewing of an English Dark Ale. The lead brewers seem to be in a creative mode for this brew (Cullen’s forte) and decided to brew a beer somewhere in the vicinity of an English Stout and a Porter.

July Shop Brew - Black Rye IPA

Our monthly Club Shop Brew is set for Sunday July 22nd at 8:00 a.m. Our Club’s 1st Vice President, Ed Kochanowski will be leading this crew with the brewing of a Black Rye IPA.

Our monthly Club Shop Brew is set for Sunday June 10th at 8:00 a.m. Our Club Treasurer, Kent Fletcher will be leading this crew with the brewing of his Elkwood Wheat.

April Shop Brew - Belgian Strong Dark Ale

Our monthly Club Shop Brew is set for Sunday April 8th at 8:00 a.m. Our Club Activities Director, Kris Schmidt, will be leading this crew with the brewing of a Belgian Strong Dark Ale. March Shop Brew - The IPA's of March - First Day of Daylight Savings - DON'T show up at 9:00 am, your spot may be given away!

Our monthly Club Shop Brew is set for Sunday March 11th at 8:00 a.m. Our HMFIC Nancy Gold, also known as the President of the Maltose Falcons will be leading this crew with the brewing of her IPA’s of March a big India Pale Ale, .
