Oak Chips soaked in Bourbon for 5 years.

| Notes |
Bud Tourville is a long time entrant of the Mayfaire contest. This year his Bourbon Oak Barleywine scored the highest score of the whole Main round with an average of 46.5.
After the primary ferment, the beer is transfered to a carboy onto oak that's been soaking in bourbon for 5 years. (That's not a typo.) The beer is aged in secondary at 35 degrees for 10 months before bottling. Bud's biggest tip is don't let even a tiny amount of bourbon into the beer.
