First Place, Class 7, European Ale

"Adam Never Had It So Good", Dortmund Adambier

For 7 gallons:

Grains: 15 lbs. 2-row pale malt. 4 lbs. wheat (malt?). 5 lbs. 6-row pale malt. 3 lbs. Munich malt. 1 lb. 40 L. Crystal malt. 4 oz. Chocolate malt.

Extracts: 1 lb. light dry malt extract.

Hops: 2 oz. Perle pellets, 5.0% A.A.. boiled at least 60 min. 2 oz. Hallertau pellets, 5.0% A.A., boiled at least 60 min. 1 oz. Saaz pellets, 3.8% A.A., boiled 5 min.

Yeast: Rubicon ale yeast.

Water: source not stated.

Procedure: Mash grains for 90 min. at 148 F. Total boil time 90 min. Ferment 1-stage at 70 F., then lager in bottles. O.G. 1.074, F.G. 1.018.
