First Place, Class 6, India Pale Ale

"Chew On This"

For 5 gallons:

Grains: 12 lbs. 2-row malt. 1.5 lbs. 40 L. Crystal malt. 1 lb. CaraPils malt. 1 lb. Wheat (malt?).

Hops: 2 oz. Centennial pellets, boiled for 60 min. 1 oz. Cascade pellets, boiled for 20 min. 1 oz. Cascade pellets, boiled for 10 min.

Yeast: #1056 Chico, starter used.

Water: source not stated.

Procedure: Mash all grains at 150 F. for 60 min. Total boil time 70 min. Ferment 15 days. O.G. 1.075, F.G. 1.015.
