First Place, Class 6, India Pale Ale"Chew On This"by Julian Bencomo, Fresno, CA. For 5 gallons: Grains: 12 lbs. 2-row malt. 1.5 lbs. 40 L. Crystal malt. 1 lb. CaraPils malt. 1 lb. Wheat (malt?). Hops: 2 oz. Centennial pellets, boiled for 60 min. 1 oz. Cascade pellets, boiled for 20 min. 1 oz. Cascade pellets, boiled for 10 min. Yeast: #1056 Chico, starter used. Water: source not stated.
