Growing Hops

Hey there everyone,

My friend and I just started brewing together with the goal of being relatively self-sustaining. We'll be bottling our second batch tomorrow. I'm into gardening, permaculture, DIY sort-of-stuff of all sorts, including obscure things such as making paper and ink, but that's for another discussion.

My question is whether anyone is doing any hops root pruning soon, and whether or not they'd like help in exchange for a part of the rhizome for my own garden?

Other than that, I just want to say that I'm really happy that my friend and I decided to join the Maltose Falcons. We were excited to see y'all representin' in the History Channel's hour on beer, and I'm excited to talk to the wise elders of the club. Anyone into the medicinal brews?
