Come join us for another fine monthly meeting as we try some more wonderful homebrews and talking life liberty and the pursuit of great beer! Grand Hydro Presentation starts at noon! Throughout the day we'll conduct business, have a lunch, Troubleshooter's Corner (intensive small group tastings of beer you have questions on) and of course HOMEBREW!
Come one! Come all to the second Maltose Falcons meeting of 2014! Starting at noon, we'll be up to our usual tricks with a special Grand Hydro presentation and then off into business and lots of homebrew. This month we have two special features:
Come one! Come all to the first Maltose Falcons meeting of 2014! Starting at noon, we'll be up to our usual tricks with a special Grand Hydro presentation and then off into business, lunch ($5-6) and lots of homebrew.
If you want to get close feedback on your beer, bring a bottle or two for the Troubleshooter's Corner. If you want to share with the club in general - bring a six pack, growler or keg!
As always, we get started at noon and everyone is welcome to join us!
The July Club Meeting will take place at the Shop, Sunday, July 7.
The meeting will start promptly at 12:00 noon. Lunch will be served, amount to be determined, but usually $6.
There is a rumor that the Grand Hydro session will feature some hard-to-get-locally East Coast brews, carefully selected by our Grand Hydro and Vice-President while in Philly for the National Homebrewers Conference.
UPDATE: Six people have signed up for this shop brew, making a full crew plus one on wait list. As ever, you can still go to the brew session, crew or no, without taking home a share of wort.
Our monthly Club Shop Brew is set for Sunday, November 18th at 8:00 a.m. Our newly confirmed President Steve Rosolio is going to lead the crew in brewing a strong Scotch ale, a sumptuously malty delicious style. This is one of Steve's preferred styles, so it should be an informative session.
Our Grand Hydrometer will be rocking with a Bock tasting to get us rolling. Hear the story of Bock beer. Special Note: if you have a homebrewed Bock that you'd like considered for the club's entry in the AHA Club Only Competition, bring it! We'll choose the best to go on and do battle with clubs across the country!
Our burgermeisters will be offering a home cooked lunch
And of course there'll be beer galore for the tasting!
